The studio

Nineteen yearsbehind the camera.

Antares Film began in 2007 in Rovigo and later moved to Terracina, on the coast south of Rome. It produces its own television formats, supplies technical service to broadcasters and supports television, event and live productions.

The founder

Marco Zarotti

Founder, director

Marco Zarotti has been a television director and producer for over twenty-five years. He graduated in Film Studies from the University of Bologna and founded Antares Film in 2007.

He is co-creator, writer, director and producer of The Coach, the performing-arts talent show now in its eighth season. Across those seasons he led the technical evolution of the gallery: motorised dollies, an expanded camera fleet, a complete rebuild of the television studio.

On the service side he has more than fifteen years specialising on the Jimmy Jib, in continuous collaboration with Nonni & Film: ski world championships, Serie A football, Modena Park, the signing of the European Constitution and exceptional events at the Vatican, from the opening of the Holy Door to the Conclave.
